Silicone is an excellent adhesive and insulation product. It is used in enclosed spaces, homes, various types of buildings, around window sills, in bathrooms, kitchens, around washbasins, bathtubs, and in areas that come into contact with water. (FAB 200AQ, FAB 200S, FAB 910N, FAB UNIVERSAL SILICONE products can be used)
To apply silicone, you will need silicone, a silicone gun, a utility knife (cutter), silicone remover, and liquid soap. First, the tip of the silicone cartridge is cut at a 45-degree angle with a utility knife. The thin nozzle is attached to the cut part, and the silicone is placed into the gun. If there is old silicone on the surface, it should be cleaned with silicone remover. Then, based on the size of the gap on the surface, gently press the silicone gun and continuously apply the silicone into that gap. Do not use more silicone than necessary. Because the more silicone there is, the more it will spread beyond the gap. This will result in an untidy appearance.
During application, it is important to ensure that the silicone is applied in a straight line. If the silicone spills beyond the straight line, you can clean the excess silicone by dripping a drop of liquid soap onto your fingertip. For the silicone to dry, if the area is damp, wait 24 hours; if it is not damp, wait 12 hours.
