One of the most crucial stages in repair work is the installation of water, sewage, and heating systems. For this, you must first have detailed information about PPRC and PVC pipes and fittings.
During installation, various types of scissors are used depending on the size and thickness of the pipes. To ensure accurate cutting of plastic pipes, after measuring with a metal ruler, we mark the cutting point with a colored pencil. The pipe should be cut at the marked point without sliding the scissors. Excessive squeezing of the scissors can cause the scissor spring to break. The scissors should be held correctly during the cutting process.
A welding machine (iron) is used to join plastic pipes. The welding machine generates heat by converting electrical energy into thermal energy. It is placed on portable legs and turned on. There are various sizes of nozzles available for welding pipes and fittings. Nozzles are selected according to the size of the pipes and fittings. These nozzles are attached to the device with screws. The thermostat of the welding tool is set to 260 - 270 degrees. In cold and windy weather, it should be set to 280 degrees. Wait for the lamp on the tool to turn off. Make sure the thermostat is working. Then cut the pipe to the required length. Pay attention to the cleanliness of the pipe and fitting ends. If you are using aluminum foil pipe, remove the aluminum layer with a pipe foil stripping tool. Insert the joining end of the pipe and the end of the fitting into the appropriate nozzles and heat them. After the heating process is complete, remove the pipe and fitting from the nozzles and connect them. The connection should reach its final position within 1 - 1.5 seconds. In this position, small pipes should be held stable by squeezing for 10 seconds. For large pipes, the duration should be 30 - 40 seconds.
Do not do this during installation
Do not rotate the pipe during compression. After the connection is complete, never apply force to the welded surface, otherwise, you will have an unsuccessful weld. One of the important points is that the pipe should not be squeezed too little or too much in the welding tool. In both cases, the connection will be faulty.
